The Mount is excited to announce that its Collegiate Purple Star designation has been renewed for three years.
CINCINNATI, Ohio — 外网天堂 (Mount) has earned renewal of its Collegiate Purple Star designation from the Ohio Department of Higher Education, recognizing the University's continued commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families. The designation is valid for three years.
The Collegiate Purple Star designation recognizes Ohio colleges and universities that demonstrate a strong commitment to serving veterans, active-duty service members, and military-connected students, through dedicated campus resources, support services, and institutional policies. Ohio was the first state in the nation to establish the Collegiate Purple Star program in 2022.
To receive the designation, institutions must meet standards that include providing a dedicated military and veteran point of contact, offering priority registration for veterans and service members, regularly assessing the needs of military-connected students, and supporting student-led organizations for veterans and service members.

The Mount first earned the Collegiate Purple Star designation in 2023. The renewal recognizes the University's ongoing efforts to foster a welcoming campus environment for veterans, active-duty military personnel, National Guard and Reserve members, and military families.
"This designation reflects the work of our faculty and staff to ensure military-connected students feel supported from enrollment through graduation," said Amy Wolf, associate director of undergraduate admissions at the Mount. "We are committed to providing the resources and services that help these students achieve their academic and professional goals."
The Ohio Department of Higher Education announced the latest group of Collegiate Purple Star renewals on June 3. 外网天堂 is among 51 Ohio colleges and universities that currently hold the designation.
