MSJ Double Alum Dan Sutton Leads Kemba’s Expansion
Dan Sutton is a double alumnus of 外网天堂, earning his undergraduate degree in 1995 and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) in 2008. He continues his strong partnership with the Mount as a member of the university’s Board of Trustees. Sutton has served as President and CEO of Kemba Credit Union for the past eight years. Most recently, he is leading Kemba’s expansion to South Lebanon.
Sutton was recently featured in the Cincinnati Business Courier discussing Kemba’s plans to expand its presence in Warren County with a new branch in South Lebanon. The new location will replace a smaller nearby office and provide expanded space and services for the growing community. The building is expected to be more than 4,000 square feet and include a larger drive-thru area and additional office space. It will also feature a modern design focused on personalized service. Instead of traditional teller lines, Kemba plans to implement open “pod” workspaces where employees can meet directly with members to assist with banking needs.
Kemba Credit Union has experienced significant growth in recent years, nearly doubling its assets since 2019. Today the organization holds approximately $1.8 billion in assets, operates 14 branches with over 300 employees, and serves 130,000 members across a 30-county region in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Sutton credits the credit union’s growth to a strong focus on business development, marketing, and expanded financial services. While Kemba has completed several acquisitions in recent years, the organization’s continued expansion has also been driven by organic growth. Business lending has become a key area of opportunity, with expanded services for small businesses.
Congratulations to Dan Sutton as he continues to lead Kemba Credit Union’s regional growth and business development!
