The Online Onboarding is designed to help you access information about MSJ, complete required tasks, and familiarize you with campus resources all in one streamlined location. This does not replace the in-person Orientation or Welcome Weekend events, be sure to attend those events.

The Online Onboarding course opens on Blackboard on June 1^st and remains open the entire summer to serve as a resource page and contact venue if you have any questions.

🔗 Visit | Log into Blackboard with your MSJ username and password

• Begin with Start Here and work your way through each tab on the menu. 
• Orientation Pre-Registration Form is due prior to attending Orientation. There are instructions and links on how to complete this in Academics and Advising > Task: Orientation Pre-Registration Form (last entry on the page).
• Complete tasks in each tab to help you set up your MSJ email, Microsoft Office, and Blackboard accounts; install bookmarks and apps on your devices; become familiar with Mount Connect, and more.  
  • Setup MSJ email, email signature, send practice email
  • Setup Blackboard, check browser compatibility, personal settings
  • Register for Microsoft 365 account (free!), setup OneDrive cloud storage
  • Install MSJ apps, bookmarks
  • Complete required safety trainings
  • Verify health insurance waiver or enrollment
  • Verify student-athlete task completion
• Monday Memos go out each week with important reminders of what you need to know.
